- In a measuring cup, add water to the orange juice until you obtain 25 cl of liquid,
- Pour this liquid into a saucepan, add the sugar, mix,
- Add the mead,
- Bring the mixture to a boil,
- Turn off the heat, add the split vanilla pod,
- Allow to cool,
- Pour into a flat-bottomed plastic container,
- Put in the freezer for 4 to 5 hours,
- Every ½ hour, break up the preparation with a fork so that it does not freeze and gradually takes on a granitic appearance,
- Divide into several bowls and serve.
