Ingredients for 4 persons

  •  50cl of mead (1/2 sec or dry)
  •  150g of sugar (white or red)
  •  1 orange juice
  •  1 vanilla pod


Preparation

  •  In a measuring cup add water to the orange juice until you obtain 25 cl of liquid,
  •  Pour this liquid into a saucepan, add the sugar, mix,
  •  Then add the mead,
  •  Bring the mixture to a boil,
  •  Stop the fire, remove the split vanilla pod,
  •  Let cool,
  •  Pour into a plastic container with a flat bottom,
  •  Put in the freezer for 4 to 5 hours,
  •  Every half hour with a fork break the preparation so that it does not freeze and take gradually a granite aspect,
  •  Spread in several cups and serve.
