Traditional Walhalla mead is inspired by the meads drunk by Vikings such as King Ragnar Lodbrok.
This mead, a true artisanal product, does not undergo any filtration or clarification. It has a straw-coloured melon colour. Its appearance is of course cloudy, as it is neither filtered nor clarified. It is a unique mead with its own character.
Its aroma is slightly fruity, reminiscent of natural cider.
Its mild, semi-dry flavour and low persistence do not soften the palate too much.
Ideal for drinking on its own or as an aperitif with tapas, cold meats and cheeses. It goes perfectly with Gouda and other fatty cheeses.
